Julien’s Auctions maintains a bond on file with the California Secretary of State as required by California Civil Code §1812.600. Case is missing a latch and has many contusions and abrasions to the Tolex that show wood but is presentable and easily repaired (recommended). ![]() The back of the body has some play wear and there are a couple of dings in the neck behind the first position. The front of the bass is fairly clean with a few dings. The neck appears to have a slight backbow which may be just the truss rod adjustment.ĬONDITION NOTES In very good condition. The intonation isn't correct and even with the two-pole bridge could get pretty close. Plays and sounds nice but the output jack crackles a bit and the bass needs a setup as well. Round-edged vintage black hard case may be of European origin. Olympic white short scale (30") bass, alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard with dot markers, single-coil straight pickup with black cover, two jazz-type knobs, pearloid pickguard, two-pole bridge, finger rest for thumb playing, triangle tuners and 4-screw F neckplate, strung with flatwound Fender strings. The instrument features a 30" short-scale alder body, bolt-on maple neck and a white pearloid pickguard, a single neck pickup, volume/ tone knobs and a set of four-on-a-side Mustang-style tuning keys. Fender introduced the Musicmaster bass in 1971, providing an entry-level alternative to the Mustang model.
